You Can't Be My Valentine'? The name came to me after Valentine's Day, the sacred day of lovers who couldn’t give a flying F**about this day, and ends up being the end of eternal singletons in great need of a sprinkle of passion. So, I thought, and what if I did something completely different with this day? Me, my over-inflated ego and my humble ambitions came to the conclusion that we should focus this day on the blog.
So on the 14th of February 2018, I launched You Can't be My Valentine. For a long time I thought the name was too long, too complicated. And then well, someone has to say it, it's a fashion blog and the name has nothing to do with it.
So what?
You can't be my Valentine was a way of making a decision - of putting a limit on people's opinions (especially on the fact that I was creating a blog at a time when everyone had moved on to instagram).
But the words, the pages, the thoughts - they're safe here, on this blog. Sheltered from the constant flow of information on instagram.
